FFS Form fill seal packaging

Form-fill seal-packaging (FFS packaging) is applied to pack bulky products. The manufacturing process of FFS packaging comprises three steps: Form (thermoforming), Fill (filling) and Seal (sealing). The molded trays are filled manually or mechanically with wound bandages, medical devices, or even entire set packs.

Hence individual requirements determine the selection of the materials, such as FFS films, coated and uncoated papers, or Tyvek®.
